Welcome to the latest instalment of our Real Estate question and answer series. Every week we answer the questions that you are asking on social media and in the comments below.
Q: Can I use electronic signatures for a real estate transaction?
A: Yes. In California we use eSignatures on most real estate contract documents.
Some lenders do require original “wet” notarized signatures on loan documents. A mobile notary can come to you for this service.
Q: What is the significance of Days on Market?
A: Days on Market or (DOM) is a cumulative total of how long the property has been advertised. Typically, the longer it is on the market the lower the offer a Seller can expect or a Buyer will be willing to make. This highlights the importance of listing a property at the right price to attract buyer activity.
Q: Do you represent Buyer or Sellers?
A: In 2019 47% of our clients were buyers and 53% were sellers. Our dedicated team includes both buyer and listing specialists so if you are looking to make a move in San Francisco or the Bay Area we are happy to help!
